    About PTSA:

The Parent, Teacher, and Student Association (PTSA) for the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) seeks to contribute to and enhance the academic and overall educational experience of the TJHSST students. Our mission also includes cooperation with the school’s teachers, administrators and staff; assistance to the TJ Partnership Fund and the TJ Alumni Association; and coordinating activities with other groups that contribute to the community.

    About the PTSA Board

The PTSA Board comprises 6 elected officers (the Executive Committee) and approximately 45 other positions representing such diverse areas as cluster or class parent liaisons, committees, PTSA fund raising arenas and the like.

We meet monthly. Committees report when they have relevant information to share with the Board. Any one wishing to add items to the agenda of future meetings should e-mail the Recording Secretary about 10 days prior to the meeting. Our intent is to adjourn all meetings by 9:30 pm.
