About Sudlersville Middle School

Sudlersville Middle School (SMS) is one of four middle schools within the Queen Anne’s County Public School system which houses approximately 450 students in grades five through eight. It is located at 600 Charles Street in rural northern Queen Anne’s County. Our school provides an excellent educational experience for students who live in several communities including Sudlersville, Church Hill, Barclay, Crumpton, Ingleside, Templeville, and portions of Marydel, Millington, and Chestertown.

The mission of Sudlersville Middle School, a high performing public school, is to ensure that our students demonstrate excellence and are empowered to grow intellectually, physically, emotionally, and socially, as they transition to successful high school students; this will be accomplished through a partnership with our students, our families, and our community, a rigorous curriculum, excellence in teaching and challenging educational experiences that is evidenced through student mastery in all content areas."
